hard to find and highly desirable c. 1900's vintage american industrial draftsman table salvaged from an old boilerworks factory. the heavy duty cast iron three-legged stationary base features fanciful cabriole style legs. the beveled edge maple wood drawing board contains an adjustable instrument shelf or ledge originally used for brushes, pens, inkstands, etc. the rack and pinion movement allows the table to be tilted or raised at any angle desired. the table and base remains sound and stable. the old american drafting table was manufactured by the eugene dietzgen co., principal factory, chicago. thoroughly refinished and treated with a clear coat lacquer.
