early 20th century american industrial enameled metal factory pendant incandescent reflector or lamp-shade likely designed by john a carlstedt, assignor to george frink spencer of newark, new jersey. the pressed and folded steel conical shade retains the original segmented or sectional interior silver-plated glass panels mounted securely in place. the cone-shaped sheet steel outer shell contains a nicely worn and weathered green paint finish (original to the shade). the vintage industrial pendant shade was fabricated by the american reflector and lighting company, chicago, ills.
