original c. 1920's vintage american made industrial angled iron four-legged stool with modified base and feet. the machine shop stool was fabricated by the angle steel stool co., inc., otsego, mi. retains the original maple wood seat affixed tightly to the all-rivet metal base. contains a multitude of riveted joint cross-bracing (i.e., stretcher bars) for added support and stability. the lower portion of each leg contains a welded joint modification with large washers used as foot pads. the stool has been refinished and sealed with a cleat coat lacquer. seat height measures 27 inches.
