unique c. 1939 vintage medical freestanding "ortho-lite" lamp stand with chrome plated steel flexible gooseneck arm. features a streamlined style three-legged cast iron base. the upright pole is comprised of yellow brass with adjustable extension retaining the original chrome plated finish. the repurposed lamp contains a "radish" x-ray reflector manufactured by the curtis lighting co., chicago, il. the perkins key socket has been rewired. the lamp stand was fabricated by or for the bausch & lomb optical co., rochester, ny.
