original c. 1900's vintage american industrial freestanding factory machinist workbench. features a nicely worn and weathered tabletop comprised of solid maple wood planks with interlocking joints. the heavy duty solid cast iron bench legs were fabricated by the western tool & mfg. co., springfiled, oh. the original solid steel rod stretcher provides added support and stability. the pierced hole foot pads can be anchored into the floor. tabletop and bases refinished and sealed with a clear coat protective lacquer. salvaged from an old milwaukee foundry. measures 57 x 29 1/2 x 33 1/2 inches.
