all original early 20th century american gothic revival style wall-mount interior oversized bracket sconce salvage from a st. louis church demolished long ago. the impressive fitter with original two-tone finish contains a pierced metal design with crenellated border and quatrefoils. the original "bullet" glass shade with baked enameled bisque finish remains intact. the hanger or bracket with large hook for supporting the lamp features open tracery. the backplate or rosette is original. possibly fabricated by the st. louis brass mfg. co., st. louis, mo. measures 6 inches in diameter and 20 inches tall
