robust antique american industrial stationary cast iron and steel factory machine shop lathe base possibly fabricated by the millers falls co., millers falls, mass. the reinforced brushed metal base with cast iron legs and double-sided steel stretchers has a uniform bare metal finish sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the newly added tabletop is comprised of old growth pine wood boards bolted firmly against the base. the repurposed industrial table was salvaged from a chicago factory machine shop shortly before closing. the building has since been demolished. 51 x 26 1/2 x 34 inches
