freestanding old american industrial brushed cast iron factory machine shop grinding machine base with custom-built solid cherry wood table top. the fabricator of the early 20th century machine base is not known. the table top has curved edges and a recessed apron. the freestanding pedestal base was used to support a television monitor with diminutive speakers set on the iron shelf below. the stained and sanded cherry wood top is in great condition. the brushed metal finish is largely uniform throughout.
