nicely worn and weathered antique american pressed and folded oversized salvaged residential chicago turret finial designed and fabricated by the friedley-voshardt company, chicago, ills. the decorative exterior residential ball finial contains a large multi-faceted base with an onion-shaped dome. the exterior ornament was fastened against the peak of the turret protruding high above the roofline. the exterior surface has been painted time and again with allover crazing evident. measures 24 x 63 inches.
