pair of original c. 1880's antique american eastlake style ornamental cast brass "ivy" pattern interior residential upper window sash pull plate designed and patented by john j. kennedy of branford, ct. the pull was salvaged from the extant david c. cook residence located in elgin, il. the pull has been refinished and treated with a black enameled inlay used to accentuate the highly detailed ivy leaf field pattern. the pull was fabricated by branford lock works, branford, ct. measures approximately 2 1/2 x 1 3/8 inches.
