original unrestored antique american ornamental cast brass interior residential doorknob rosette designed and fabricated by the mallory wheeler co., new havent, ct. the circular-shaped passage door rosette contains two screw holes and a thimble or collar with picket fence border. nicely aged surface patina. original baked black enameled finish worn away long ago. measures 2 inches in diameter.
