very durable and versatile c. 1940's "new old stock" military issue olive drab porcelain enameled cold-rolled steel shallow type conical reflector or shade designed and fabricated by the multi electric mfg. co., chicago, il. the heavily reinforced lightweight shade contains a standard fitter opening equipped with three flexible steel spring clips designed to wrap around the light bulb and/or socket. the underside of the shade contains a white porcelain reflective finish. the world war ii-era reflector was commonly found in military air hangers, barracks, etc. 3" x 8".
