all original c. 1950's unfurnished vintage american industrial heavy gauge angled steel four-legged mail sorting room stool designed and fabricated exclusively by ozark metal products inc., ozark, ala., for the united states postal office. the low-lying all-welded joint stationary base retains the original robin egg blue baked enameled finish over metal. the extensive cross-bracing provides added support and stability. the solid bird's eye maple wood circular-shaped seat is affixed tightly against the base. the inward turned ball feet are similar in design to the stools fabricated by the angled steel company of hallowell, mi. surface wear and/or discoloration consistent with age. matching stools available. priced individually. stool measures approximately 23 inches in height.
