original early 20th century american craftsman style ornamental wrought yellow brass metal doorknobs and backplates likely fabricated by the sargent hardware company, new haven, ct. the doorknob and matching escutcheons were salvaged from a chicago bungalow residence undergoing interior renovation. nicely aged surface patina left untouched. priced for the lot. backplates measure 7 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches.
