very unusual c. 1880's antique american interior residential oversized beveled glass transom window arch top fragment bedecked with several brightly colored faceted jewels. the stained glass fragment was salvaged from a badly damaged bay window featuring a "sunrise" design motif composed of individually cut beveled edge plate glass with lead caming and thin border composed of light blue cathedral muffled glass the visually striking condensed cluster of brightly colored faceted jewels arranged randomly in various sizes is structurally sound and stable. possibly fabricated by mccully & miles, chicago, ills. measures 12 x 8 inches
