group of three original and intact 19th century chicago residential privy pit earthenware or pottery ale bottles fabricated for john a. lomax and paul paul. the lomax bottles feature richly colored cobalt blue stripes flanking the applied tops. the bottles contain lightly incised lettering of the bottlers. the lomax bottles date to the 1880's. the pohl bottle dates to the 1890's. great overall condition. priced for the lot.
