all original and completely intact mid-1920's antique american industrial "berloy steel" freestanding factory lunchroom lockers designed and manufactured by the berger mfg. co., canton, oh. the double unit locker retains the original baked-on olive or army green enameled finish. the sliding handles and door bolts are original and fully functional. the riveted joint number tags are fastened tightly to each hinged and louvered door. the locker unit was salvaged from a factory building located in chicago's central manufacturing district (cmd). measures 30 long x 12 wide x 72 inches high.
