set of c. 1880's antique american ornamental cast brass "oriental" pattern shutter door butts or hinges designed and fabricated by branford lock works, branford, ct. the pair of diminutive hinges were salvaged from the extant david c. cook mansion, located in elgin, il. the hinges contain a baked black enameled inlay to accentuate the casting detail. each leaf contains two screw holes. fully functional. measures 2 x 1 1/4 inches. priced for the pair.
