original c. 1900's american interior residential doorknob backplates fabricated by the p. & f. corbin co., new britain, ct. the matching passage door escutcheons are comprised of brass with a nicely aged surface patina left untouched. each backplate contains a single skeleton keyhole four screw holes and a protruding thimbles. measure approximately 5 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches. priced for the pair.
