original early 1930's american industrial single-sided "receiving and stock room" informational factory sign with nicely weathered hand-painted lettering. salvaged from a far west side chicago office furniture supply store recently demolished. the long and narrow sign is comprised of oak wood with white enameled lettering against a solid black background. the outer edges contain pinstriping. the wood sign contains two opposed screw holes for mounting flush against the wall. measures 50 x 14 inches.
