all original c. 1940's wwii-era vintage industrial heavy gauge steel diminutive stool likely fabricated by the lyon metallic mfg. co., aurora, il. original olive-green enameled finish remains in great shape, considering age. the four-legged tubular steel legs are pinched and riveted against the stationary seat. original swivel casters in excellent working condition. the underside of the stool reads 'state owned military department" in black stenciled lettering. measures 14 inches in height.
