all original and fully functional c. 1900-10 antique american industrial solid mahogany wood adjustable height four-legged switchboard operator's stool designed and fabricated by the johnson chair company, chicago, il. the robust revolving seat stool retains the original darkly stained finish. the distinctive cabriole style legs are structurally sound and stable. the oversized heel ring or footrest is supported by diminutive wood brackets attached to each leg. the circular-shaped seat is supported by a solid steel threaded rod or spindle that rotates with ease. great overall condition, considering age. measures 29 inches in height.
