original american interior residential oak wood swinging door window attributed to william drummond. the framless panel contains visually striking chicago prairie style or "wrightesque" leaded art glass free from cracks or breaks.
the art glass panel features a strongly geometric pattern containing a simple white opalescent glass border surrounding clear glass panes. the center portion has lightly tinted, seeded glass possibly manufactured by the kokomo opalescent glass company.
the top and bottom of each pane contains remarkable double-crown caming with unique metallic gold "sandwich" glass panels. the windows were likely executed by the linden glass company chicago, il. the window was salvaged approximately 30 years ago
from an oak park or river forest house purportedly designed by drummond during his years in private practice. research pertaining to the exact commission is still ongoing. the window measures 13"w x 36"h x .25"d.
