original c. 1940's american industrial custom-built primitive factory stool and/or side table found in an old chicago tool & die factory. the four-legged stationary stool is comprised of heavy gauge welded joint tubular steel with unusual bulbous "shoes." the nicely worn and weathered square-shaped wood seat is tightly affixed to the base. the dark blue enameled finish remains largely intact. measures 15 x 13 x 26 1/2 inches.
