original c. 1880's antique american ornamental cast brass dome-shaped banded rim doorknob designed and fabricated by the norwalk lock co., norwalk, conn. the passage size doorknob contains a visually striking design consisting of overlapping floral elements and geometric shapes. the doorknob contains a black enameled inlay in the recessed regions to accentuate the casting detail. the backside of the door knob has an altogether different design. great overall condition, considering age. measures approximately 2 1/4 inches in diameter.
