original 19th or early 20th century antique american salvaged chicago quartered oak wood interior residential pier mirror or console possibly fabricated by the east rockford mantel company, rockford, ills. the original finish is largely intact. the freestanding pier mirror features a unique projecting base with raised panel. the header retains most of the gesso ornament. the tall and narrow pier mirror was salvaged from a chicago mansion on the northside of chicago.
