hard to find and highly desirable original early 20th century vintage medical oversized hospital operating room supply table and/or workstation. fabricated by the w.d. allison mfg. co., indianapolis, ind. the stationary instrument and dressing table is comprised entirely of heavy gauge welded joint solid steel with cast iron "fittings." the two plate glass shelves are original and intact. the four-legged tubular steel base is reinforced with solid steel rods joined together between of the upright legs. salvaged from the old cook county hospital, chicago, il. completely refinished and treated with a cleat coat lacquer. measures 38 1/2 x 20 1/4 x 31 1/2 inches.
