most unusual c. 1930's double-sided rustic folded sheet metal "open" hanging sign. the fully operational and illuminated bare bulb electric sign was salvaged from an old south side chicago t.v. repair shop. the sign originally hung above the entrance. nicely weathered finish. some of the incandescent light bulbs have burned out, but can be easily replaced. the sign can be plugged into a standard wall outlet. sign fabricator unknown. measures 42 x 14 1/2 x 10 1/2 inches.
