all original c. 1920's american machine age interior theater lobby illuminated wall-mount "men" and "women" signs likely fabricated by the brilliant sign co., st. louis, mo. the encapsulated lavatory signs contain a hinged cover containing thick "milk" glass insets with deeply etched lettering, highlighted in a black enameled finish. the internally lighted signs retain the original incandescent light keyless sockets, with electrical wiring protruding from the backside. the streamlined style housings are comprised of reinforced cast aluminum. each illuminated restroom sign measures 10 1/2 x 3 inches. priced for the pair.
