unique grouping of vintage industrial hollow metal balls or spheres used in a wide range of ornamental applications for the designer and fabricator. each steel orb has an ample wall thickness for welding, screwing or tapping; they are not recommended for mechanical applications that have precise dimensional requirements. the balls have a standard finish (i.e., "mill" with the weld seam ground flush). makes for a unique table or shelf display when grouped together. the old pyrex glass open-ended laboratory container is included with the spheres. measure six inches in diameter. salvaged from an old northwest indiana foundry.
