highly sought after and all original c. 1930-35 american art deco "brown-tipped" or "soleure" pattern six-light slip shade interior residential ceiling fixture likely fabricated by or for the mid-west chandelier co., kansas city. the ornamental cast brass and aluminum ceiling fixture retains the original bronze enameled finish. the two-tone baked enameled v-shaped faceted shades are in good condition, with surface wear and minor chips evident. the spun brass tapered canopy with ornamental cast bronze perforated ring is original to the fixture. the bottom drop or bowl shade contains the same two-tone enameled finish. the ornamental bronze finial remains intact. the sockets and wiring have been replaced. ready for immediate installation. measures 38 inches from ceiling mount to bottom and 21 inches in diameter.
