group of three unique unembossed (i.e., no identification and/or markings) carefully dug from a near west side chicago residential privy pit or vault containing artifacts dating between the 1860's-1880's. the richly colored dark amber oversized glass bottles likely held whiskey, ale and/or wine. the hand-blown bottles are intact and free from cracks or breaks. the single ring applied lips are in great shape, considering age. one or two of the smooth-base brown glass bottles were likely fabricated by the dyottville glassworks. priced for the lot of three.
