original c. 1930's american art deco interior residential three-light ceiling fixture fabricated by the j.c. virden lighting co., cleveland, oh. the slip or slipper shade light fixture contains a visually striking sunburst medallion mounted directly above the three surrounding shades. the fixture is comprised of cast aluminum with original "old gold" enameled finish largely intact. the pressed amber glass slip shades feature lightly embossed floral motifs. the stamped yellow brass ceiling canopy is original and intact. measures 14 x 35 inches.
