c. 1929-35 original american art deco single-light interior residential slip or "slipper" shade wall sconce fabricated by the lightolier corp., jeannette, pennsylvania. the shade fitter or sconce is comprised of cast iron with original two-tone antique gold enameled finish. the fanciful pressed glass slip shade was manufactured by consolidated glass. the shell-like shade features highly detailed floral motifs set against a baked champagne colored background. keyless leviton socket and on/off dial switch original and intact.
