solidly-built original early 1940's american industrial instructional student science laboratory table or workbench designed and fabricated by the kewaunee mfg. co., adrian, mi. the medium-sized stationary workbench contains a well-maintained solid oak wood four-legged base with original varnished finish largely intact. the square post legs or uprights are structurally sound and stable. the heavy solid slate tabletop shows surface wear consistent with age and use. the biological laboratory table was salvaged from an old chicago public school. this style of lab table is configured without drawers. the oak wood aprons and stretchers are in great overall condition. four matching tables available. sold individually. measures approximately 54 x 24 x 29 1/2 inches.
