c. 1925-1930 antique american industrial four-legged riveted joint heavy gauge steel adjustable height factory machinist or machine shop stool designed and fabricated by the angled steel company, plainwell, mich. the fully refinished american industrial stool is comprised of heavy gauge pressed and folded steel with a wood seat tightly affixed to the legs. the riveted and welded joint base with x-shaped stretchers provides added stability. the circular-shaped seat is slightly sunken in the center (a part of the design). the brushed metal stool leg extensions contain several holes for achieving desired height. measures 27 inches high and 13 1/2 inches in diameter.
