original c. 1880's ornamental cast bronze "ivy" pattern eastlake style pocket door mortise lock catch or keeper designed and fabricated by branford lock works, branford, ct. the salvaged chicago single-sided mortise lock catch exhibits very little wear, considering age. the popular eastlake style hardware was used in conjunction with a single oversized pocket or sliding door.
