original 19th century antique american victorian era interior residential stained glass window possibly fabricated by the wells glass company, chicago, il. variations of the centrally located palmette with flanking scrollwork were found in period catalogs offered by wells glass company. the vibrantly colored window features a palmette containing alternating amber ripple and clear beveled glass. multifaceted jewels provide added visual character. the lead caming is in good condition, considering age. minor hairline cracks evident. original painted wood sash frame. salvaged from a chicago residence built around 1887. measures approximately 36 x 17 x 1 3/4 inches.
