c. 1880's original antique american ornamental cast brass interior residential eastlake style banded rim doorknob designed and fabricated by the sargent hardware co., new haven, ct. the doorknob features a centrally located sunburst surrounded by a picket fence border. the original black enameled inlay remains largely intact. nice and even surface patina. measures approximately 2 1/4 inches in diameter.
