original and remarkably intact c. 1930's american interior residential polychrome enameled bare bulb pendant ceiling fixture likely fabricated by harry alter & co., chicago, il. the two-light ceiling fixture is comprised of cast iron with original antique gold enameled finish highlighted with red and green paint found primarily on any and all embossed floral motifs. the canopy and chain are original to the fixture. the leviton ceramic sockets have been rewired. salvaged from an old chicago bungalow residence. measures 14 x 28. note: chain links can be added or removed to achieve desired height.
