all original early 20th century vintage american industrial mobile display table typically used for displaying office equipment (i.e., typewriters) or in some cases, gambling devices such as slot machines. the unique three-legged tripod cast iron base with fanciful cabriole style legs retains the original "japanned" or baked black enameled finish. the varnished solid oak wood tabletop revolves around the central shaft or spindle. four angled steel brackets provide additional support and stability. very heavy duty industrial furniture piece. likely fabricated by the adjustable table co., grand rapids, mi. measures 22 x 17 1/4 x 27 1/2 inches. original swivel casters largely intact.
