all original american early 20th century fully adjustable "peerless" draftsman's table designed and patented by adolph hoffman of columbus, oh. the remarkably intact drawing table contains a fully adjustable cast iron and tubular steel pipe tripod base with uniform brushed metal finish. the table is equipped with three distinct drawing boards that vary primarily in shape. the smallest drawing board is affixed to an extension arm mounted to the central upright. the medium-sized board contains a unique dual clamping mechanism patented in 1910. the primary board retains the original pencil ledge. the multitude of faucet handles are original and completely functional. the refinished wood boards can be tilted to any angle and revolved to any position. the c. 1910-20 factory office drafting table was manufactured by a. hoffman & co., rochester, ny.
