early 1930's american antique industrial heavy duty cold-rolled sheet steel double door factory machine shop supply cabinet designed and fabricated by the lyon metallic mfg. co., aurora, il. the all-metal cabinet is reinforced with both welded and riveted joints. the two swing-out hinged doors are in excellent working condition. the heavily compartmentalized interior retains the original army green baked enameled finish. the bronze oval-shaped knob pull and cylinder lock are original and intact. the cabinet's exterior has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the cabinet can be mounted flush against the wall or placed on a workbench. salvaged from a chicago area tool & die machine shop. 7-1/2" x 31" x 35".
