late 19th century antique american four-legged twisted wire soda fountain or ice cream parlor stool fabricated by the chicago wire chair company, chicago, il. the stool is comprised largely of heavy gauge mill-rolled iron with protruding footrest and hooped feet. the varnished wood inset seat is original and intact. the oxidized copper finish remains in good condition, considering age. measures 28 1/2 inches in height.
