original early 20th century american industrial drafting room adjustable height varnished oak wood stool attributed to the eugene dietzgen co., principal factory, chicago, il. the base is comprised of four flared oak wood posts reinforced with cross-bracing. the original bentwood heel ring or footrest is supported by wooden brackets tightly affixed to each of the legs. the solid oak wood revolving seat retains the original solid steel threaded spindle or post. original varnished finish left intact. surface wear evident.
