original early 20th century ornamental wrought steel interior residential passage door backplate and matching doorknob likely designed and fabricated by the p. & f. corbin company, new britain, ct. the stamped or pressed steel hardware was salvaged from a chicago graystone constructed around 1905. additional hardware available. backplate measures 7" x 2-3/4".
