early 20th century vintage medical freestanding hospital operating room instrument and/or medical supply cabinet, manufactured around 1905-15 by the a.s. aloe co., st. louis, mo. the heavy gauge steel cabinet features two clear "wavy" glass sidelights and single hinged cabinet door with original yellow brass key escutcheon. multiple heavy plate glass adjustable shelves included. the fanciful cabriole style stationary legs are comprised of cast iron. the folded steel bottom shelf is tightly affixed to each of the legs. salvaged from the old cook county hospital, chicago, il. measures 56 3/4 x 20 x 15 inches. very pleasing brushed steel finish.
