original c. 1927 american mission style interior westbury hotel emblematic doorknob likely fabricated by sargent, russwin or lockwood. the solid cast brass doorknob contains the address of the hotel (i.e., 15 east, 69th street) surrounded by graduated concentric rings. the doorknob contains a mostly uniform surface patina.
