original late 1920's vintage american "fisher" brand laboratory benchtop retort stand fabricated by the fisher scientific co., pittsburgh, pa. the stand contains a three-legged tripod base comprised of cast iron. the solid steel pole or rod contains a set of fully adjustable burret clamps used for holding cylindrical-shaped glassware. the black enameled finish is largely intact. measures 38 inches tall.
