all original american depression era art deco five-light interior residential ceiling fixture likely fabricated by the markel electric products co., buffalo, ny. the cast iron ceiling fixture contains five matching unusually shaped pressed amber jagged edge slip or drop shades with inverted and elongated tear drop finials. the amber-colored glass shades are accentuated with cascading chevron design motifs. the ceiling fixture is comprised of iron with original brass-plated finish or "wash." the leviton keyless sockets, stem, canopy and pierced metal finial are original to the fixture. the fixture and shades are in great condition. the rewired fixture measures 17 1/4 x 16 1/2 inches. *missing one shade*
